Blog post #3

The book I am currently reading, is The Da Vinci Code.
Brown, Dan. The Da Vinci Code. New York, A Disicion of Random House, Inc. 2003. Print.

"The pallid corpse of Jacques Sauniere lay on the parquet floor exactly as it appeared in the photograph. As Langdon stood over the body and squinted in the harsh light, he reminded himself to his amazement that Sauniere had spent his last minutes of life arranging his own body in the strange fashion." (Brown 38).

This part of the story is where the protagonist put himself in the perspective of someone who was dying, and spending their lost moments alive rearranging them self into an awkward position. I think that in a way, this could relate to justice. Before justice is given, an action by which justice needs to be accomplished is set. In this case, the murder of Jacques Sauniere is the action that will activate the lead to achieving justice. The fact that Langdon thought about what Jacques Sauniere went through, gives a little explanation as there are different types of justices. Bringing justice for the sake of protecting you, and helping yourself, and bringing justice for those incapable of doing so, and requires assistance. Langdon demonstrates that he is on the edge of bringing justice for Sauniere because he had sympathy for him.
